Is win8 shit?

I'm going tu buy a ssd and install my os on it for faster boot time. When I googled around I noticed that windows 8 has faster boot time than windows 7. Is it worth it? Whats bad about win8? If you have windows 8 please tell me what you dislike about it

Windows 8 is amazing if you illegally download start8 right after that, because the windows menu of windows 8 sucks and when you download start8 you can get the normal menu back  .
That was pretty much the only thing that sucked (not sure if you'd prefer it).

I've got win8 on my ssd, it works rad. Mine isn't very spacious tho, that's why I have two other hdds

Win 8.1 only adds a Windows button that opens the StartScreen.

About Win 8: not only has faster boot time, but the whole system is faster than Win 7.

I have windows 8, nothing bad about it at all.. Except for the start menu everythings fine..

But as Noomie said, just install Start8 or ClassicShell and you should be fine

Been using Windows 8 for about 3 years. It's much faster than Win 7, and as everyone else says if you don't like modern UI get a menu program.
