I just use a regular ps3 controller, as long as it got the right amount of buttons, and two joysticks it should be fine.
I also think gamestop has some cheap-ass controllers.

Xbox controllers cause they work with just plugging them in ... Ps3 controllers can be a pain in  the ass cause most of the time you need a 3rd party software to make it work .

I have been using my PS3 controller for everything. Many say 360 controller is good too, but I don't have much experience with it.

I guess it's up to you, wherever you like your X-Y axis joint. I personally prefer PS controllers layout.

I'd say it depends on how big your hand is, if it's big I can imagine a PS3 controller will feel small, I prefer PS3 controllers over 360 but I use the 360 since it's just plug and play without needing a 3rd party software, even though I already have the program needed.

Lol, so does PS3. I don't have any third party software installed.

You should probably still go for old fashioned 360 controller though, PC games usually use it's layout. Go for a physical analog stick, not like Bluestar's controller  :toomuchinformation:
